Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie Recipe
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Ensure all of your ingredients arel at room temperature. In a large bowl add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt then whisk until well combined. Set this dry mixture aside until later. Using a stand mixer, add the brown sugar, granulated sugar and butter and mix until well combined. Slowly add the eggs one at a time Pour in the vanilla extract then slowly add the dry flour mixture and continue mixing Add the chocolate chips and walnuts then mix until well combined. Chill your dough place your dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour this will allow the flavors to melt and help the cookies to retain their shape. After an hour remove the cookie dough from the refrigerator then using a 1/4 cup scoop form the cookies. Note: If you are using an electric oven place the cookies on the lower rack and if you're using a gas oven place the cookie sheet on the top rack. Place the cookies in the preheated oven and allow them to cook for 13 to 17 minutes. After the cookies are done remove them from the oven then transfer to a wire rack to continue cooling.
